Tyler's Ross Has Chance For Another Big Title
Phil Hicks
Aaron Ross has one championship and he wants another.

Ross, the former John Tyler standout, gets that chance Sunday in Super Bowl XLII.

Just as when he played for Texas against USC, his Giants are huge underdogs against the New England Patriots.

Ross helped the Longhorns pull off the upset of Trojans team that many proclaimed as the best ever.

Now, the unbeaten Patriots are being hailed as the best ever.

Ross is not thinking about these invincible Patriots, but he's only concerned about his team.

"I think we just have to try to not worry about them, but worry about us," Ross said from Phoenix. "If we stick to our game plan, we'll be alright."

That game plan includes getting pressure on Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.

Ross said the main objective is, "to get to Brady. Brady is main guy."

The Tylerite said the Giants must emulate the performance of a fellow NFC East club against the Patriots.

"The team that's really close to us as far as defense is, of course, Philadelphia. Philadelphia got after them pretty good," Ross said. "I think we had a little better pressure on them the last game, so I guess we just have to stick to what we did last game and do it a little bit more."

And maybe the Giants will reverse that 38-35 loss to the Patriots back on Dec. 29.
