Whitehouse's Attaway Named MVP Of District 12-4A
Whitehouse junior quarterback Brady Attaway was named the Most Valuable Player of District 12-4A football, the league's coaches announced.
Darius Jones, a junior from Marshall was tabbed Offensive Player of the Year, while Kilgore senior Rick Thomas was named Defensive Player of the Year.
Junior Matt Sheppard of Marshall was Offensive Lineman of the Year and Junior Dominique Jones of Kilgore earned Defensive Lineman of the Year honors.

Whitehouse freshman Quincy Aldridge and Marshall sophomore Aaron Franklin shared Defensive Newcomer honors.
Henderson sophomore Tyrell Jenkins was the Offensive Newcomer of the Year.
Mike Vallery was Coach of the Year.
