Celebrity Chef Program Continues

TYLER — This week's Celebrity Chef Program at Brookshire’s on Rice Road features Teri Sawyer, author of "Delicious by Design." Sawyer will prepare recipes from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 12, in the Celebrate Cooking Tasting Station.
Sawyer was the owner and operator of a successful catering business, Teri’s Tasties, from 1986 to 1994. In 1994, she accepted the position of food service director at First Baptist Church in Tyler. Sawyer enjoys sharing her favorite recipes and cooking tips with audiences. She is also a professional motivational speaker.
Sawyer is past president of the National Association of Church Food Service and currently serves as a trustee. She is a member of the Junior League of Tyler and the Tyler Morning Toastmasters, CTM. In addition to her college degree, Sawyer holds certification through the National Association of Church Food Service, CPR and Serve Safe Accreditation.
