HS Boys Basketball: Van 63, Canton 38
The Vandals (12-5) yielded just 14 second-half points and Aric Stroop poured in 23 points to push Van past District 14-3A rival Canton Friday.

Stroop, who had 15 points at halftime, hit just one 3-pointer in the game, finding most of his production under the basket.

The Vandals opened the second half with a 13-0 run, and then began the fourth quarter with a 19-3 run. Jermie Calhoun had 16 points in the paint, while Peyton Neill added 12.

The combination of Calhoun and Neill also held Canton (6-8) post Keavon Milton to just 12 points - two in the second half.
