LINDALE - Imran Shotanni had 16 points, Cedric Jones had 15 points and Lindale held off Chapel Hill on Tuesday night.

Chapel Hill, rated No. 1 in Class 3A by the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches, played without star forward Chris Mass.

NEW LONDON - Markoay Carldwell scored 16 points to lead three players in double figures as West Rusk handed the Sabine Cardinals their first loss of the season.

West Rusk avenged a 60-48 loss to Sabine from earlier in the season.

Mineola 43, Caddo Mills 29

MINEOLA - The Lady Jackets (5-2) raced out to an 18-6 lead and didn't look back to secure their fifth win of the season.

Shena' Woods led all scorers with 15 points and Brittany Tuck added eight for Mineola in the win.

Mineola will next face Celeste at noon Thursday in the Miller Grove tournament.
