Rangerettes To Perform In Parades
Five Tyler area dancers are to be a part of the 68-year-old tradition of the Kilgore Rangerettes. The Rangerettes are known for their precision kick performances.
This November they will travel to New York and then to Connecticut to participate in a Thanksgiving parade. They will also perform in the Cotton Bowl Parade and be featured half-time performers in the Cotton Bowl on Jan. 1.
Maghan Bridges, daughter of Bobby and Sonja Bridges of Whitehouse, is captain of the Kilgore Rangerettes 67th line. Bridges was also captain of the Whitehouse High School First Ladies Drill Team from 2004-2006.
Allyson Maranitch, daughter of Jerry and Mary Maranitch, is a left end lieutenant. on the 67th Rangerette line. She was an officer on the Robert E. Lee Southern Belles Drill Team in 2005-2006.
Amanda Strassburg, daughter of Bruce and Cheri Strassburg of Tyler, is left middle lieutenant. She was captain of the Robert E. Lee Southern Belles Drill Team in 2005-2006.
Jessica Boonstra is a freshman member of the 68th Rangerette line. She is the daughter of Jim and Lori Boonstra of Tyler. She was an officer on the Robert E. Lee Southern Belle Drill Team in 2006-2007.
Whitney Greeney is a freshman member of the 68th Rangerette line. She is the daughter of Glen and Marian Greeney. She was an officer on the Whitehouse High School First Ladies Drill Team from 2005-2007 and was 1st lieutenant her senior year.
