Flu Shots Available At Longview Mall
LONGVIEW - Maxim Health Systems will provide flu and pneumonia shots on a first-come, first-serve basis for one week at the Longview Mall.
According to a statement from the Simon company, owners of the mall, the cost of flu shots is $30, and pneumonia shots are $40. No appointment is necessary; the clinics will take place from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. in the mall's center court.
Medicare recipients who are not members of a Medicare HMO can receive both shots free of charge with a valid Medicare card. Maxim will also accept cash and checks.
According to Simon, clinics are open to the public and staffed by licensed, local nurses. Participants must be at least 9 years old and sign a consent form. Parents or guardians must accompany children under age 18.
