Tyler

Mallory Kristine Curtis, train bearer to the queen, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Brad Curtis of Tyler. She is in the fifth grade at Andy Woods Elementary School. Her honors include participating as a state finalist in the PTA Reflections Contest in musical composition, all A's, and the Honors Choir. She is a member of the East Texas Spirit Soccer Team (97 Girls Team), the School of Ballet, sings with Off Broadway Music, has served as hostess of the Queen's Tea and volunteered for the Cystic Fibrosis Walk. She is a member of First Baptist Church.

Family members who have participated in past Rose Festivals include her mother, Suzanne Couey Curtis, 2007 Coronation co-chair, wardrobe properties chairman, script chairman, worked on graphics and Rose Show; her father, Brad Curtis, 1986 escort, 2006 and 2007 Wrangler; aunt, Carla Christine Curtis Lovell, 1988 lady-in-waiting; grandfather, Robert Carl Curtis, 1962 escort; grandmother, Mrs. Roberts Curtis, served on various committees for the Queen's Tea and coronation.

Tyler relatives include grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Carl Curtis; cousins, Mr. and Mrs. Randy Roberts; great uncle, William Eugene Curtis Jr.; and brother, William Bradly Curtis Jr.
