Kathryn Hirsch Adams
Kathryn Hirsch Adams is the daughter of Margo Hirsch Adams and Mr. and Mrs. William Barrett Adams Sr. She attends the University of Georgia at Athens and is a sophomore majoring in business. She is a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority and serves as their administrative secretary and Junior Panhellenic delegate. She was the University of Georgia Student Government Association freshman class representative, as well as a member of H.E.R.O. for Children, L.E.A.D. Athens and DanceFx. She is also a volunteer at the Boys and Girls Club of Athens, Ga.
Miss Adams is a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School and served as class president each of the four years she attended high school. She was also a member of the Student Senate for four years. She was a member of the National Honor Society, serving as executive director her senior year and also the Southern Belles Drill Team where she was chosen to be an officer her senior year. She was listed in Who’s Who Among American High School Students in grades 11 and 12.
Miss Adams was a member of the Junior Symphony League, receiving the Windsor Distinguished Service Award her senior year. She is a member of Congregation Beth El in Tyler and attended Camp Longhorn for nine years. She served as trainbearer to the 1997 Rose Queen Elizabeth Smith Tapp and was a junior hostess for the Queen’s Tea.
