EMORY MAN DIES IN TRAFFIC ACCIDENT OUTSIDE LINDALE
An Emory man was killed in a traffic accident just outside Lindale late Sunday night.

According to a report by Texas Department of Public Safety trooper Patrick Dark, Kyle Ray Jackson, 19, was pronounced dead at Mother Frances Hospital shortly after midnight.

The report indicated Jackson was a passenger in a 2003 Nissan Sentra driven by Skyler Prince, 19, of Lindale.

Dark said Prince was traveling eastbound on Farm-to-Market Road 2710 just west of County Road 4178 when Prince lost control of the vehicle.

The report stated the Nissan struck a pipe fence and flipped several times, and Jackson, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected.

Prince remains hospitalized at East Texas Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
