1 STILL HOSPITALIZED FROM FRIDAY WRECK
At least one Arp man remained in the hospital with serious injuries after a two-car accident Friday night between Arp and New Chapel Hill.

Raphel Horton, 22, was driving the late-model passenger car involved in the accident. He was listed in serious condition Saturday at East Texas Medical Center in Tyler, according to hospital officials.

The accident occurred when Zachary Isaac, 17, who was driving a pickup on County Road 223, failed to yield the right of way at the intersection with Farm-to-Market Road 2607, according to a Department of Public Safety spokesman.

The pickup collided with the car, which was traveling northbound on FM 2607, the spokesman said.

Isaac and three other Arp area teens in the pickup were transported to the hospital with minor and serious injuries. Colton Smith, 16, was taken by helicopter, while Isaac, Jessica Green, 16, and Jessica Ates, 16, were transported by ambulance.

Condition reports were not available late Saturday night.
