WHAT: “Shine A Light,” by the Rolling Stones
WHY: My favorite song is “Shine A Light” by The Rolling Stones. The Stones weren’t who anyone typically associates with happy songs, but there’s a sense of bright redemption and uplift that’s just so great. It just might have the most smile-inducing guitar solo ever.
WHO: Faith Harper, Morning Telegraph Staff Writer
WHY: No matter how bad of a day or stressful my day has been, a little chocolate always makes it better. It’s an instant fix. Also, it’s a sin to have chocolate without nuts in it.
WHO: David Hill, Tyler
WHAT: “Pacific Rim”
WHY: This summer, I went to a preview showing of “Pacific Rim” with a small group of adults. For the duration of that movie, our inner 12-year-olds were unleashed as we cheered and hollered at the sheer joy of seeing giant robots and giant monsters fighting. It’s the most fun I’ve had at a movie in a long time.
WHO: Amy Fish
WHY: Amy Fish inspires me because I truly believe she has a great heart and wants to help everyone she comes in contact with! I have never heard her say a bad word about anyone, and if she has an opinion about something, she will let you know. She is a great person and I’m glad to be her friend!

WHAT: Family time
WHY: What makes me happy? Many things: traveling, beautiful music, good food, good friends.
The thing that makes me happiest is seeing my family happy and getting to spend time with them. Without that none of those other things can really bring happiness
