Thank you! Thank you! Thank you to all of you who answered my requests for help. I couldn't have done it without all of you! Postcards are on their way to Dallas! Hurrah!

— Colleen Colby,

Last Friday evening we took our Dallas friends, Don and Ruth, to Pine Mills Catfish for dinner. The staff was cheerful and pleasant, the food was wonderful and when we were ready to leave our server happily told us "your dinner has been paid for." We didn't see a familiar face in the restaurant, so we said there must be a mistake! She told us, "No, we have a customer who often chooses someone and pays their check as he is leaving." How special is that? Thank you, whoever you are.

Thank you — whoever you are.

Thank you to all those friends who, even when you go weeks or months or years without talking, you still pick up with as much ease and affection as if you'd been just in the next room away for minute. I'm thinking of Jennifer Smith Cook, Alex Stansbury and Stacey Greenwood, but I'm sure there are many others. Unconditional friends rock!
