It’s going to be another hot and humid day across East Texas. High temperatures will reach the upper 90s with an east wind at 5 mph. The upper-level ridge of high pressure responsible for the hot temperatures will weaken through the rest of this week, and a low will migrate westward along the Gulf Coast. That combination will bring high temperatures in the mid-90s and scattered afternoon showers and thunderstorms through the rest of the week and the weekend. Winds will become southeast 10 mph Tuesday.
