High pressure will build eastward from New Mexico and dominate East Texas weather through the weekend. High temperatures will reach from 98 to near 100 degrees today through Sunday, and no rain is expected. Another unseasonably cool air mass will drop southward out of Canada and cover much of the country from the Rockies to the East Coast. High temperatures in our area will be below normal Tuesday through Friday, and there will be a chance of showers and thunderstorms each day next week.
