It’s going to feel more like a normal July this week. High temperatures will be in the mid-90s through the weekend. There will be a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms Wednesday night and Thursday. Other than that, it is expected to be dry. Another outbreak of unseasonably cool temperatures over the eastern half of the country is showing up on the long-range models valid from the last few days of July through the first few days of August. East Texas will see mild conditions back into the area from the east.
