After an impressive shot of cool air, the recovery back to near normal temperatures should start today. That being said, East Texas should still remain slightly below that normal threshold of around 93 degrees until Monday. The leftover moisture in the soil from this week’s rain will help to blunt the impact of July sunshine which will return to the area today. High pressure will begin to reposition to our west over the next few days, which will assist in the warming process.
Rainfall chances are looking rather slim over the next week or so, which is not that surprising given the time of year. So, hopefully the recent showers were beneficial to your yard!
