East Texas weather will be normal for July this week. It will be hot and humid with a low chance of daytime showers and thunderstorms mainly over deep East Texas. Any activity that develops will die out early in the evening. The best chance of rain will be Wednesday when a front over the eastern U.S. tries to slip into the area from the northeast. Even then, the chance of rain will be 20 percent. High temperatures will reach the mid-90s through Friday and rise into the upper 90s this weekend.
