Thanks to moist soil from the recent rains, clearing skies, and a light wind, the stage has been set for some patchy fog across East Texas this morning. Temperatures should recover quickly into the upper 80s to low 90s. The sunny skies won’t last too long, though. By Thursday afternoon another shot at showers and thunderstorms will emerge across the area. The heaviest totals should run in the neighborhood of 1 to 1 1/2 inch. Rainfall will end on Friday morning.
