Surface high pressure in the Gulf of Mexico will provide us with southwest winds which will become rather breezy later this afternoon. Warm afternoon temperatures also can be expected with strong sunshine across the region. Rain chances will begin late Thursday and increase for Friday and Saturday providing the area with some much needed rainfall. Temperatures will remain warm through the week, generally in the 80s, and will cool only slightly with increasing humidity, cloud cover and rain.
