A cold front tonight will increase the chance of showers and thunderstorms through midnight. Some storms could be severe with hail and damaging winds especially during the late afternoon when temperatures are highest. Winds will be south from 5 to 10 mph but variable and stronger in and near thunderstorms. The threat of severe weather will decrease after sunset. The rest of the week looks dry except for a slight chance that showers and thunderstorms will drift across the area Thursday night through Saturday.
