A weak cold front will wash out across East Texas today, so temperatures will continue to get warmer through the Easter weekend. There will be a slight chance of showers Saturday night, and a little better chance of showers and thunderstorms Sunday and Monday. The chance of rain will be over by Tuesday, and temperatures are expected to reach the 80s by Wednesday. Winds today will be northeast 5 to 10 mph.
Temperatures Friday morning will hover near 58 degrees before falling during the day and reaching 40 degrees Saturday morning. Expect a high near 61 Saturday afternoon, a low near 39 degrees Sunday morning, and a high near 64 degrees Sunday afternoon. We will have to consider the possibility of scattered frost Sunday and Monday mornings depending how fast the air dries out after the rain.
