High pressure aloft and at the surface will provide the region with a sunny day after a cool start. High temps this afternoon will rise into the mid- to upper 70s. The next slight chance of rain comes Tuesday night as a stalled front to the north and an upper air disturbance begin to affect the region. Rain chances are slowly increasing for Wednesday with best rain chances coming on Thursday and Thursday night with the next cold front. Temperatures will push into the upper 70s to near 80 degrees by midweek.
