Temperatures will stay a little below normal the first half of this week with lows in the low 40s and highs in the mid-60s. Today and Tuesday will be mostly sunny. An upper-level trough of low pressure off the coast of California will move east and reach the southern Plains on Wednesday. South winds will increase ahead of this system, and showers and thunderstorms will develop Wednesday through Friday. The possibility of strong to severe storms is slim but can’t be ruled out at this time.
