A very pleasant weekend is on-tap for East Texas, thanks to decent sunshine and a good south wind. Besides some high clouds, conditions should be almost perfect for a swift warm-up on Saturday, resulting in high temps in the lower 70’s. By Saturday night, the continuous south wind will draw low cloud cover back into East Texas. This will help to keep temps noticeably warmer on Saturday night.
All of this happens in advance of a Cold Front which will swing through East Texas on Sunday afternoon, along with a low end chance for some showers. This front will knock temps back closer to normal on Monday and Tuesday. Then, a much stronger front will drive temps back below normal during the latter part of Tuesday, and that will continue through the end of the upcoming work week, and into the following weekend.
