A short-lived warming trend will kick into gear today, thanks to sunshine and a southerly wind. Look for highs in the mid-50s this afternoon. This will be followed by even better numbers on Sunday afternoon in the low to mid-60s. Then, by Sunday evening, our next cold front will sweep across the area, bringing another batch of cold air. On the heels of the cold front will come another storm feature that will provide additional rain for Monday, and a chance of frozen precipitation Monday night into early Tuesday. There is still quite a bit of time for this part of the forecast to come together. But at this time, this does not look like a significant winter weather scenario. Temperatures are expected to warm back to normal during the second half of the upcoming work week.
