South winds 15 to 25 gusting to 35 mph today will begin a warmup that will put an end to freezing temperatures for nearly a week. Highs today will be in the mid 50s, and temperatures will reach 70 degrees Friday afternoon. Light rain is possible Friday night. There will be a better chance of rain Saturday and Sunday and from Monday night through Tuesday night. It will be cooler from Sunday through the middle of next week with high temperatures near 50 degrees each day. An extended spell of chilly weather with freezing morning temperatures will start late next week and last through that weekend.
Temperatures Friday morning will hover near 58 degrees before falling during the day and reaching 40 degrees Saturday morning. Expect a high near 61 Saturday afternoon, a low near 39 degrees Sunday morning, and a high near 64 degrees Sunday afternoon. We will have to consider the possibility of scattered frost Sunday and Monday mornings depending how fast the air dries out after the rain.
