After one last night of subfreezing values, temperatures will show a nice climb through the weekend. Look for highs today to be 10 to 15 degrees warmer today compared to Friday. This will happen due to full sunshine and a modifying Arctic airmass. That modification process will fire up on Sunday, when stronger south winds will assist.
This, along with the warming that occurs ahead of a cold front, will have highs running in the mid-60s. Then, another strong cold front will sweep into the area late Sunday and early Monday. This front will be just as strong as the one that moved through earlier in the week, and it will knock Highs down into the 30’s both Tuesday and Wednesday. Overnight Lows will approach Hard Freeze criteria - especially by early Wednesday. Afterward, a slow warming trend will take over - as we head into the Thursday/Friday timeframe.
