Rain in store for East Texas

Cold air will be locked up over Canada and we will see cold fronts from the Pacific move through East Texas over the next several days as the weather pattern shifts. The air behind these fronts will be much warmer than the air behind the arctic front we saw early this week. Rain is likely today through Friday night, with a few thunderstorms possible Friday. The weekend will be mostly sunny and pleasant with lows near 40 degrees and highs in the 60s.
