The cold air is easing its grip on East Texas after a couple of mornings with lows in the teens. The next few days will be wet but warmer. High temperatures will reach the low 40s today, hover there through the night, and then rise to the upper 50s Thursday. Highs will reach the mid-60s Friday, with a chance of a few thunderstorms before the rain decreases Saturday and ends Saturday night. Sunday through Tuesday will be sunny with lows in the 40s and highs in the upper 50s and low 60s.
