An arctic cold front brought chilly north winds to East Texas. Highs today will be in the low 40s with wind chills in the mid-30s as winds gust to 25 mph. Lows Friday will be in the low 20s with highs in the mid-40s. Southeast winds will bring warmer air to the area Saturday, with highs expected in the upper 50s. There is a 30 percent chance of showers Saturday night and Sunday before the next arctic cold front drops temperatures again from Sunday afternoon through early next week.
