A cold front moved through the area overnight. The front shifted winds into the northwest, and has begun to bring drier and cooler air back into East Texas. However, the longevity of the cooler air mass will be limited, and a warm-up should begin on Monday, as temperatures finally return to the low 60s. We will remain in the 60s through the work week. Rainfall chances also will remain slim to none until probably Friday. At that time, it still appears that a Strong Arctic Cold Front will sweep into the area.
