Another cold front Wednesday reinforced the cool dry air already in place across East Texas, so we will see mostly sunny skies today with highs near 50 degrees and light winds. A low-pressure area spinning over the southwest will move east toward Texas the rest of this week. The moisture this system brings will give us a good chance of showers Friday afternoon and Friday night. Temperatures will be well above freezing, so icing won’t be a problem.
The rain will end by noon Saturday, and the rest of the weekend looks mostly sunny and cool.
