Clouds will decrease and temperatures will warm across the area with clear to partly cloudy skies expected today. However, southerly winds will increase on Monday ahead of our next weather maker. Rain is expected to return to portions of the area on Monday night and Tuesday morning, and will end as a strong polar cold front brings dry and cold air into the region for Tuesday afternoon, Tuesday night and Wednesday. Make preparations for a light freeze Tuesday night and again Wednesday night with the coldest temperatures of this season. Temperatures will warm a little before clouds and rain chances increase Thursday night and into next weekend.
