A cold front will move slowly across North Texas today and become stationary along the Red River on Sunday. Showers and thunderstorms will move through East Texas ahead of the front today and Sunday. Rainfall should range from one-half inch to an inch and a half through Sunday. High temperatures will be in the middle 80s. The front will move back to the north as a warm front, so scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue Monday and Tuesday.
A stronger cold front Wednesday will bring an end to the rain and leave behind cooler temperatures with lows in the 50s and highs in the 70s. Another front will reinforce the cool air Friday.
