The abundant rainfall from Friday will have to do for a while, since drier air has continued to pour into place. The drier air will help erode the cloud deck today, as well as transition to a more pleasant air mass. This will really be felt tonight, when the combination of clearing skies, light winds and the drier air will allow temperatures to drop into the upper 50s to low 60s by Sunday morning. In the meantime, look for high temps to run just above the 80 degree mark today and into the mid 80’s by Sunday afternoon. Our next chance for rain will hold off until the middle of this coming week.
