The weather will stay hot and dry this week with very little chance of rain due mainly to a lack of moisture in the air. Upper-level high pressure will be centered over the Mississippi Valley early this week before migrating westward back over Texas by late week. High temperatures will stay in the upper 90s through Friday with occasional reports of 100 degrees in places. Some changes are expected early next week including a better chance of rain and lower temperatures.
Fall begins at 3:44 p.m. CDT on Sunday, Setember 22.
