The cold front that moved through the area yesterday will begin its way back to the north later today. Moisture will be increasing and that means more humid conditions will be returning to the area. High pressure aloft will build back over the region by Tuesday and remain the dominate feature controlling our weather into next weekend. Hot temperatures will be the rule for much of the upcoming week. There could be a slight chance of rain late Monday night and early Tuesday.
from storms that develop in Oklahoma moving southeast in the northwest flow aloft. Forecast models are not yet consistent so only a very slight chance will be noted for that possibility. There is another front expected by late next weekend that may again bring slightly cooler temperatures and a chance of rain at that time.
