Thanks to last night's Cold Front, a slightly cooler and drier airmass has invaded East Texas once again, which is especially rare for late July. While it will still be plenty warm, temperatures will run a few degrees below normal today - thanks to a gentle North wind. However, that same wind will have already swung back into the Southeast by this evening, and will begin another moistening process. Temperatures will recover back into the mid 90's by Sunday afternoon.
Looking out into next week, there doesn't appear to be a significant opportunity for Rainfall over the next five to seven days. That being said, Rainfall is a pretty rare commodity in late July and August anyway. Breezy conditions look in the offing for the first part of this next week. Look for rather consistent High Temps in the Middle 90's next week.
