An upper-level ridge of high pressure extends from the Ohio Valley into Texas and is now the main feature controlling our weather. The chance of rain will be decreased through the weekend, but isolated showers and thunderstorms could develop during the hottest part of the day. High temperatures will be in the mid-90s. Winds will be mostly from the east about 5 mph.
