Wednesday night, Kevin Durant stood before his adoring home crowd, proudly holding his MVP trophy above his head during a pregame ceremony.

Then he spent the next few hours showing how he earned it as the Oklahoma City Thunder beat the Los Angeles Clippers 112-101 to tie their series.

Tonight, the NFL Draft begins…

The current holder of the number one pick is the Texans, who went 2-14 last season. But there's no certainty who they will grab, or if they will stay there rather than taking an offer for the position.

Teams that could be interested in jumping up to the top are Atlanta, Tampa Bay and even Dallas, which needs lots of work on its defense.

Speaking of the draft, imagine the change for those coming out of school and entering this year’s draft.

Sammy Watkins, when asked what he’ll buy if he lands a big deal, said "I gotta get my mom whatever she wants," he said. "Whatever she needs."

Kony Ealy says: "Being able to provide for my family, you know what I'm sayin'? That was the dream then and that's it now."

Morgan Moses says "The first thing I'm going to buy? I'm pretty frugal with my money so probably a home to live in. I'm going to let everything else take care of itself."
