NORTHEAST

ATHENS: Water clear; 83-87 degrees; 0.05 feet low. Black bass are slow on watermelon creature baits in 2-6 inches of water. Crappie are fair on minnows. Catfish are good on trotlines and cut shad.

BOB SANDLIN: Water clear; 83-86 degrees; 1.09 feet low. Black bass are fair on swim jigs and shallow crankbaits in shad patterns near cover. Crappie are good on minnows and white jigs. White bass are good on topwaters. Catfish are good on trotlines and nightcrawlers.

BRIDGEPORT: Water clear, 82-85 degrees; 22.19 feet low. Black bass are fair on white medium crankbaits near riprap and green pumpkin shakyhead worms on deeper docks. Crappie are good on minnows and tube jigs. White bass are good on slabs and topwaters. Hybrid striper are good on slabs and topwaters. Channel catfish are fair on trotlines.

CADDO: Water stained; 83-86 degrees; 0.30 feet high. Black bass are good on bladed jigs and hollow body frogs near stumps and shallow cover. White and yellow bass are fair on topwaters and slabs. Catfish are good on trotlines.

CEDAR CREEK: Water clear; 83-87 degrees; 3.26 feet low. Black bass are good on Texas rigged craws and topwater poppers. White bass are fair on slabs and topwaters. Hybrid striper are fair on topwaters. Crappie are good on jigs and minnows. Catfish are good on trotlines and nightcrawlers.

FORK: Water clear; 83-86 degrees; 3.53 feet low. Black bass are slow on umbrella rigs and drop shot worms in 15-20 feet. White and yellow bass are good on topwaters and minnows. Crappie are good on minnows. Catfish are fair on trotlines and chicken liver.

LAKE O’ THE PINES: Water lightly stained; 83-87; degrees; 2.02 feet high. Black bass are fair on flipping jigs in black and blue and weightless soft plastics. Crappie are good on white tube jigs and minnows. Catfish are good on trotlines.

LAVON: Water lightly stained; 83-88 degrees; 11.74 feet low. Black bass are fair on black buzzbaits and Texas rigged worms. White bass are slow on slabs. Crappie are good on minnows and white jigs. Catfish are good on trotlines and prepared bait.

MARTIN CREEK: Water clear; 82-86 degrees; 0.28 feet low. Black bass are good on hollow belly frogs near shallow cover. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs. White bass are fair on minnows and topwaters. Catfish are good on punch bait and rod and reel.

MONTICELLO: Water fairly clear; 84-87 degrees; 0.58 feet low. Black bass are slow on Texas rigged creature baits and hollow body frogs. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs. Catfish are good on trotlines and prepared bait.

PALESTINE: Water clear; 82-86 degrees; 0.10 feet low. Black bass are fair on green pumpkin shakyheads and weightless Senkos. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs. Hybrid striper are good on slabs. White bass are fair on topwaters and slabs. Catfish are fair on trotlines.

RICHLAND CHAMBERS: Water lightly stained; 82-86 degrees; 6.81 feet low. Black bass are slow on football jigs and Carolina rigged worms. White bass are slow on minnows and jigs. Hybrid striper are good on minnows and slabs. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs. Catfish are good on trotlines.

TAWAKONI: Water stained; 83-88 degrees; 9.24 feet low. Black bass are fair on hollow body frogs and shallow crankbaits in shad patterns. Crappie are slow on minnows. White bass are good on slabs. Striped bass and hybrid striper are fair on slabs. Catfish are good on trotlines and punch bait. Please call ahead to verify access at ramp of your choice. Lake access is severely limited due to low water.

TEXOMA: Water clear; 83-86 degrees; 6.16 feet low. Black bass are fair on topwaters and Texas rigged plastics near floating docks. Crappie are fair on minnows. Striped bass are good on topwaters and slabs. Catfish are good on trotlines and cut shad.

SOUTHEAST

CONROE: Water stained; 79-83 degrees; 0.07 feet high. Black bass are good on watermelon soft plastics, crankbaits, and spinnerbaits. Striped bass are slow. Crappie are good on minnows and white tube jigs over brush piles. Catfish are good on stinkbait and prepared bait.

GIBBONS CREEK: Water clear. Black bass are good on chartreuse soft plastic worms, Rat-L-Traps, and crankbaits. Crappie are good on minnows and pink tube jigs. Catfish are good on nightcrawlers, cut bait, and shrimp.

HOUSTON COUNTY: Water stained; 85-89 degrees; 0.08 feet high. Black bass to 6 pounds are good on topwaters, Pop Rs, and watermelon red lizards and worms. White bass are slow. Crappie are excellent on live minnows. Bream are excellent on live worms off grass beds. Channel and blue catfish are good on juglines baited with cut shad. Yellow catfish are slow.

LIVINGSTON: Water fairly clear; 79-83 degrees; 0.37 feet high. Black bass are good on watermelon spinnerbaits and crankbaits. Striped bass are fair on pet spoons, hellbenders, trolling tubes, and slabs. White bass are good on pet spoons, hellbenders, trolling tubes, and Charlie slabs. Crappie are good on minnows. Blue catfish are good on shad. Yellow catfish are fair on live bait.

SAM RAYBURN: Water murky; 78-82 degrees; 0.22 feet low. Black bass are fair on chartreuse Rat-L-Traps and watermelon soft plastic worms and lizards. White bass are fair on Li’l Fishies. Crappie are good on minnows and white tube jigs over brush piles. Bream are fair on nightcrawlers. Catfish are good on trotlines baited with live bait.

TOLEDO BEND: Water murky; 79-83 degrees; 0.89 feet low. Black bass are good on pumpkinseed soft plastic worms, spinnerbaits, and Rat-L-Traps. Striped bass are fair on white striper jigs. White bass are good on Li’l Fishies and silver spoons. Crappie are good on minnows over baited holes in 15-20 feet. Bream are good on nightcrawlers. Channel and blue catfish are fair on trotlines baited with live bait and stinkbait in 30 feet. Yellow catfish are slow.

COASTAL

NORTH SABINE: Redfish are good in the marsh on topwaters. Redfish are fair to good at the mouths of bayous draining from the marsh.

SOUTH SABINE: Trout are fair to good at the jetty on live bait and topwaters. Trout are good while drifting scattered shell on plastics. Trout are good in the surf.

BOLIVAR: Trout are good on the south shoreline on Bass Assassins, Trout Killers and Sand Eels. Trout, sand trout and croakers are fair to good at Rollover Pass on live bait.

TRINITY BAY: Trout are good for drifters working pods of shad and mullet on Bass Assassins, Trout Killers and Sand Eels. Trout, redfish and croaker are good at the spillway on live bait. Redfish have been schooling on the surface around midday when the wind allows.

EAST GALVESTON BAY: Trout are good for drifters working deep shell on limetreuse and plum plastics. Trout are good on live bait around the Ship Channel.

WEST GALVESTON BAY: Sheepshead, redfish and black drum are good at the jetty on shrimp and crabs. Trout and redfish are fair to good at the mouth of bayous on the outgoing tide on live shrimp.

TEXAS CITY: Trout are fair to good on the reefs and in the channel on live shrimp and croakers. Redfish and sand trout are fair to good in Moses Lake on shrimp.

FREEPORT: Trout, redfish, sand trout and sheepshead are good on live shrimp on the reefs in Christmas Bay and Chocolate Bay. Trout, redfish and croakers on shrimp at the jetty.

EAST MATAGORDA BAY: Trout are good for drifters and waders on live shrimp over mid-bay reefs. Redfish are good in the middle of the bay on live shrimp near slicks.

WEST MATAGORDA BAY: Trout are fair on sand and grass on soft plastics and topwaters. Redfish are good in the back reaches of the bay on mud and shell on live shrimp. Trout are good in the surf on topwaters and croakers.

PORT O’CONNOR: Trout and redfish are good on topwaters and live bait over sand, grass and shell near Pass Cavallo. Trout and redfish are fair at the mouths of the back lakes on the outgoing tide. Offshore is good for ling kingfish.

ROCKPORT: Trout are fair in the guts and channels on free-lined shrimp. Trout are fair over grass while drifting with live shrimp. Redfish are fair to good in the guts with lower tides.

PORT ARANSAS: Trout, redfish and sheepshead are fair to good at the jetty on shrimp and croakers. Offshore is good for kingfish and ling.

CORPUS CHRISTI: Trout are fair to good on the edge of the spoils on Gulps and live shrimp. Trout are fair to good on topwaters on sand and grass near the Packery Channel.

BAFFIN BAY: Trout are fair to good on topwaters around rocks and grass. Trout are fair to good while drifting grass around spoil islands on Bass Assassins, Gamblers and MirrOlures. Trout are good on croakers for wader working sand and grass.

PORT MANSFIELD: Trout are good on topwaters on the edge of the channel and around sand and grass. Redfish are fair to good while wading over sand on small topwaters. Offshore is good for kingfish and ling.

SOUTH PADRE: Trout are good on shrimp and DOA Shrimp while drifting the grass beds. Spanish mackerel and trout are good at the jetty. Tarpon are good around the pass and at the jetty early in the morning and late in the evening.

PORT ISABEL: Trout are good on the deeper edges and flats on topwaters and live shrimp. Redfish are fair to good in along the drops on small topwaters and live shrimp. Black drum and sheepshead are fair to good in South Bay on live bait.
