BOB SANDLIN: Water clear; 78–82 degrees; 0.78’ low. Black bass are good on topwaters and swimjigs near shallow cover. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs. White bass are good on slabs. Catfish are good on trotlines and cut shad.

CADDO: Water stained; 79–83 degrees; 1.25’ high. Black bass are fair on Texas rig Sweet Beavers. White and yellow bass are fair on topwaters. Catfish are good on trotlines. Special regulations are in effect for boaters and anglers on this lake. See Possession and Transport.

FORK: Water clear; 72–75 degrees; 3.09’ low. Black bass are good on Strike King 10XDs, DD22s and Carolina rigged soft plastics – hollow body frogs around vegetation near deeper water catching good numbers. White and yellow bass are good on slabs and topwaters. Crappie are good on minnows and white jigs near bridges. Catfish are good on trotlines.

HOUSTON COUNTY: Water stained; 79–83 degrees; 0.17’ high. Black bass to 4 pounds are fair on June bug colored soft plastic worms. White bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Bream are fair on live worms. Channel and blue catfish are slow. Yellow catfish are slow.

LAKE O’ THE PINES: Water lightly stained; 78–83; degrees; 2.45’ high. Black bass are good on Texas rigged creature baits and topwater poppers near grass. Crappie are good on jigs. Catfish are good on trotlines and cut shad. Special regulations are in effect for boaters and anglers on this lake. See Possession and Transport.

LIVINGSTON: Water fairly clear; 74–78 degrees; 0.40’ high. Black bass are fair on watermelon Rat–L–Traps and spinnerbaits. Striped bass are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are fair on minnows. Blue catfish are fair on shad. Yellow catfish are slow.

MARTIN CREEK: Water clear; 79–83 degrees; 0.02 low. Black bass are slow on topwater poppers and hollow belly frogs. Crappie are good on minnows. White bass are good on minnows. Catfish are fair on trotlines and cut shad.

MONTICELLO: Water fairly clear; 78–83 degrees; 0.22’ high. Black bass are good on Texas rigged green pumpkin Sweet Beavers and hollow body frogs near shallow cover. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs. Catfish are good on trotlines and nightcrawlers.

SAM RAYBURN: Water murky; 75–79 degrees; 0.41’ low. Black bass are fair on pumpkinseed soft plastics and Brush Hogs. White bass are good on minnows, hellbenders, and silver spoons. Crappie are good on minnows and tube jigs over brush piles. Bream are slow. Catfish are good on trotlines baited with live bait.

TOLEDO BEND: Water murky; 76–80 degrees; 0.96’ low. Black bass are good on chartreuse/white soft plastics. Striped bass are fair on white striper jigs. White bass are fair on silver spoons and slabs in the river. Crappie are good on minnows and chartreuse tube jigs. Channel and blue catfish are good on trotlines baited with live bait, cut bait, and shrimp. Yellow catfish are slow.

*WRIGHT PATMAN: Water lightly stained; 79–83 degrees; 7.30’ high. Black bass are fair on topwaters and hollow body frogs. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs. Catfish are fair on trotlines.

Prairie & Lakes

ATHENS: Water clear; 78–83 degrees; 0.02’ low. Black bass are fair on weightless Senkos and Flukes. Crappie are good on minnows. Catfish are slow on trotlines.

*BRIDGEPORT: Water clear, 77–81 degrees; 22.35’ low. Black bass are good on squarebill crankbaits in shad patterns. 1/4oz Yellow Magic poppers in yellow frog are still effective. Crappie are good on minnows. White bass are fair on slabs and topwaters. Hybrid striper are good on slabs. Channel catfish are good on trotlines and rod and reel.

CEDAR CREEK: Water clear; 76–81 degrees; 3.27’ low. Black bass are good on Texas rigged craws and creature baits on docks. White bass are fair on slabs. Hybrid striper are good on minnows and topwaters. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs. Catfish are good on trotlines and cut shad.

GIBBONS CREEK: Water clear. Black bass are good on chartreuse Rat–L–Traps, soft plastics, spinnerbaits, and crankbaits. Crappie are good on minnows and white/blue tube jigs. Catfish are good on punchbait, bait shrimp, and liver.

*LAVON: Water lightly stained; 79–83 degrees; 11.43’ low. Black bass are slow on Texas rigged creature baits and hollow body frogs. White bass are fair on slabs. Crappie are good on tube jigs and minnows. Catfish are fair on trotlines.

PALESTINE: Water clear; 76–80 degrees; 0.15’ high. Black bass are fair on green pumpkin shakyheads and weightless Senkos. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs. Hybrid striper are fair on slabs. White bass are good on topwaters. Catfish are good on trotlines.

RAY ROBERTS: Water clear; 78–83 degrees; 8.64’ low. Black bass are fair on Texas rigged green pumpkin soft plastics near shallow timber. Crappie are good on white jigs and minnows. White bass are good on topwaters and crankbaits. Catfish are fair on cut shad and trotlines.

RICHLAND CHAMBERS: Water lightly stained; 76–80 degrees; 7.18’ low. Black bass are slow on medium crankbaits. White bass are good on topwaters. Hybrid striper are good on minnows and topwaters. Crappie are fair on minnows. Catfish are good on cut shad and trotlines.

TAWAKONI: Water stained; 78–82 degrees; 8.23’ low. Black bass are fair on hollow body frogs near shallow cover. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs. White bass are good on slabs. Striped bass and hybrid striper are fair on topwaters. Catfish are good on trotlines and cut shad. Please call ahead to verify access at ramp of your choice. Lake access is severely limited due to low water.

*TEXOMA: Water clear; 76–81 degrees; 8.49’ low. Black bass are fair on topwater walking baits and Texas rigged plastics. Crappie are good on minnows and tube jigs. Striped bass are fair on topwaters. Catfish are good on trotlines and prepared bait.

Gulf Coast

NORTH SABINE:Trout are fair to good under birds and pods of shad on soft plastics. Redfish are good in the marsh on plastics and Gulps.

SOUTH SABINE: Trout are fair to good under birds and pods of shad. Trout are good at the jetty on live bait and topwaters. Sheepshead are good on live shrimp tight to the rocks.

BOLIVAR: Trout are good on the south shoreline on Bass Assassins, Tidal Surges, Gulps and topwaters. Trout, sand trout and redfish are good at Rollover Pass.

TRINITY BAY: Trout are fair at the spillway on plastics and shrimp. Redfish are good on live bait around the reefs. Trout are fair at the wells on plastics.

EAST GALVESTON BAY: Trout are good for drifters working deep shell on limetreuse and plum plastics. Trout are good on the south shoreline on topwaters. Trout are good around slicks and reefs.

WEST GALVESTON BAY: Trout are good in the surf on plastics and live bait. Sheepshead, redfish and black drum are good at the jetty on shrimp and crabs.

TEXAS CITY: Trout are fair to good along the Ship Channel on live shrimp and croakers. Redfish and sheepshead have been found around the rocks and structure on shrimp.

FREEPORT: Trout are good at San Luis Pass on shrimp and MirrOlures. Trout and Spanish mackerel are good in the surf on live bait and artificials. Sand trout and sheepshead are good on live shrimp on the reefs in Christmas Bay. Offshore is good for red snapper and kingfish.

EAST MATAGORDA BAY: Trout are fair to good for drifters on live shrimp over humps and scattered shell. Redfish are fair to good on the edge of the Intracoastal on crabs and mullet.

WEST MATAGORDA BAY Trout are good on sand and grass humps on soft plastics and topwaters. Redfish are good on topwaters and live shrimp in Oyster Lake.

PORT O'CONNOR Trout and redfish are good on topwaters and live bait over sand, grass and shell in San Antonio Bay. Trout are good in the surf and at the jetty on croakers and live shrimp.

ROCKPORT Trout are fair to good in the guts and channels on free–lined shrimp. Trout are fair over grass while drifting with live croakers. Redfish are good on mullet on the Estes Flats.

PORT ARANSAS Trout, redfish and sheepshead are fair to good at the jetty on shrimp and croakers. Trout are good in the surf on topwaters and croakers. Red snapper are good offshore.

CORPUS CHRISTI Trout are fair to good on the edge of the spoils on Gulps and live shrimp. Redfish are good in the potholes on shrimp. Trout are good in the surf on croakers.

BAFFIN BAY Trout are good on topwaters and croakers around rocks and grass. Trout are fair to good while drifting the spoils on Bass Assassins, Trout Killers and Sand Eels.

PORT MANSFIELD Trout are good on topwaters around sand and grass. Redfish are fair to good while drifting pot holes on shrimp and small topwaters. Offshore is good for red snapper and kingfish.

SOUTH PADRE Redfish and trout are good around sand and grass in South Bay and along sand and grass. Trout and redfish are fair to good at the jetty on live bait

PORT ISABEL Trout and redfish are fair to good at Airport Cove on topwaters and soft plastics. Trout are good on the deeper edges and flats on topwaters, DOA Shrimp and live shrimp.
