NORTHEAST

ATHENS: Water clear; 43-47 degrees; 0.01 feet high. Black bass are slow on bladed jigs and Colorado blade spinnerbaits. Crappie are fair on minnows and white jigs. Catfish are fair on cut shad and trotlines.

BOB SANDLIN: Water clear; 44-49 degrees; 3.27 feet low. Black bass are slow on Rat-L-Traps and black/blue flipping jigs. Crappie are slow on jigs and minnows. White bass are good on minnows. Catfish are good on trotlines and night crawlers.

BONHAM: Water stained, 48-52 degrees; 2.22 feet low. Black bass are fair on lipless crankbaits, crankbaits and spinnerbaits. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs along the bridges. Catfish are fair on chicken liver along Timbercreek Channel down to about 20 feet.

*BRIDGEPORT: Water clear, 42-47 degrees; 21.26 feet low. Black bass are slow on lipless crankbaits and smaller spoons. Crappie are fair on jigs. White bass are fair on slabs. Hybrid striper are fair on slabs. Channel catfish are fair on trotlines. Zebra mussels have been found in this reservoir. Boats, livewells, and bait buckets must be drained of all water before leaving the area.

*CADDO: Water stained; 45-50 degrees; 0.90 feet high. Black bass are good on white spinnerbaits and bladed jigs. White and yellow bass are good on slabs. Catfish are good on trotlines. Special regulations are in effect for boaters and anglers on this lake.

CEDAR CREEK: Water clear; 44-49 degrees; 3.62 feet low. Black bass are fair on bladed jigs and squarebill crankbaits. White bass are good on slabs. Hybrid striper are good on minnows. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs. Catfish are slow on cut shad and trotlines.

COOPER: Water clear; 61-65 degrees; 12.90 feet low. Black bass are good on medium crankbaits and Carolina rigged plastics up to 15 feet deep. Crappie are slow on jigs. White bass are fair on slabs. Hybrid striper are good on slabs. Catfish are good on cut shad.

FAIRFIELD: Fishing has been slow since the fish kill in September of 2010. TPWD has discontinued stocking the lake after another kill in early September 2011. Redfish and black bass survived the kill in limited numbers.

FORK: Water clear; 45-51 degrees; 4.40 feet low. Black bass are slow on black and yellow jigs and red lipless crankbaits. Yellow bass and white bass are good on slabs. Crappie are good on minnows near bridges. Catfish are good on prepared bait.

GRAPEVINE: Water clear; 43-47 degrees; 9.92 feet low. Black bass are slow on Megabass Knuckle 60 crankbaits and Vision 110 jerkbaits. Crappie are fair near brush piles on jigs and minnows. White bass are fair on slabs and minnows. Catfish are fair on cut shad and nightcrawlers.

JOE POOL: Water clear; 44-49 degrees; 1.27 feet low. Black bass are fair on lipless crankbaits and white spinnerbaits. Crappie are fair on minnows. White bass are good on slabs. Catfish are good on prepared bait.

*LAKE O' THE PINES: Water lightly stained; 45-51; degrees; 1.34 feet high. Black bass are fair on bladed jigs and lipless crankbaits. Crappie are fair on jigs. Catfish are fair on trotlines and cut shad.

*LAVON: Water lightly stained; 42-47 degrees; 12.36 feet low. Black bass are slow on black/blue flipping jigs. White bass are fair on slabs. Crappie are fair on chartreuse jigs and minnows. Catfish are fair on prepared bait and trotlines.

*LEWISVILLE: Water clear; 42-46 degrees; 7.89 feet low. Black bass are slow on suspending jerkbaits and small jigging spoons. Crappie are slow on minnows and jigs. White bass are fair on jigs and minnows. Hybrid striper are slow on slabs. Catfish are fair on cut shad. Zebra mussels have been found in this reservoir.

MARTIN CREEK: Water clear; 67-71 degrees; 0.02 feet high. Black bass are good on squarebill crankbaits and white spinnerbaits. Crappie are fair on white jigs and minnows. White bass are good on minnows. Catfish are good on trotlines and rod and reel.

MONTICELLO: Water fairly clear; 53-59 degrees; 0.92 feet high. Black bass are good on black and blue flipping jigs and green pumpkin creature baits. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs. Catfish are good on nightcrawlers and rod and reel.

PALESTINE: Water clear; 43-47 degrees; 0.50 feet high. Black bass are fair on red Rat-L-Traps and Xcite XB-1 crankbaits in natural shad in the Kickapoo area. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs. Hybrid striper are good on slabs. White bass are fair on jigs. Catfish are good on chicken livers and trotlines.

RAY HUBBARD: Water clear; 42-46 degrees; 7.33 feet low. Black bass are fair on suspending jerkbaits and deep diving crankbaits. Crappie are fair on jigs. White bass are fair on slabs. Hybrid striper are slow on slabs. Catfish are fair on trotlines and cut shad.

RAY ROBERTS: Water clear; 42-47 degrees; 7.86 feet low. Black bass are slow on suspending jerkbaits and sprayed grass color flipping jigs. Crappie are slow on minnows and jigs. White bass are slow on minnows. Catfish are slow on cut shad.

RICHLAND CHAMBERS: Water lightly stained; 44-48 degrees; 7.03 feet low. Black bass are slow on deep diving crankbaits. White bass are slow on jigs. Hybrid striper are fair on slabs and minnows. Crappie are fair on minnows. Catfish are fair on trotlines and cut shad.

TAWAKONI: Water stained; 42-48 degrees; 9.49 feet low. Black bass are slow on green pumpkin flipping jigs. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs. White bass are good on slabs. Striped bass and hybrid striper are fair on slabs. Catfish are fair on cut shad. Please call ahead to verify access at ramp of your choice. Lake access is severely limited due to low water.

TEXOMA: Water clear; 41-46 degrees; 9.03 feet low. Black bass are slow on shakyheads and drop shot finesse worms near deeper points. Crappie are fair on chartreuse jigs and minnows. Striped bass are slow on slabs. Catfish are fair on cut shad and trotlines.

WEATHERFORD: Water clear; 42-47 degrees; 8.63 feet low. No report available. Please call ahead as low water is making launching difficult.

*WRIGHT PATMAN: Water lightly stained; 45-50 degrees; 3.34 feet high. Black bass are slow on black/blue jigs and creature baits. Crappie are slow on minnows and jigs. Catfish are good on prepared bait and trotlines.
