Lufkin police ask for public's help to identify bank robber

A bank in Lufkin was robbed Tuesday morning, and the suspect is still at large.

According to Jessica Pebsworth with the Lufkin Police Department, a male suspect entered Bancorp South located at 500 South John Redditt Drive just after 11 a.m. and gave a teller a note demanding money.

The suspect did not display a gun during the robbery and fled on foot after getting an undisclosed amount of money.
