Tyler Boot Campaign receives grant to help military community

The Tyler-based nonprofit Boot Campaign received an award of $37,500 to help bolster its ReBOOT program.

Newman’s Own who was joined by co-sponsers Fisher House Foundation and Military Times presented the award to the Boot Campaign at the 18th annual Newman’s Own Awards Ceremony at the Pentagon Hall of Heroes. 

The Boot Campaign will use the Newman’s Own Award grant to provide funding to world-class physical and mental wellness programs for traumatic brain injury, post traumatic stress disorder, chronic pain, addiction and insomnia.

Out of 200 organizations that entered for the grant, the Boot Campaign was one of five selected to receive a grant.

Created in 2011, the Boot Campaign is dedicated to igniting the inner patriot of all Americans and providing life-improving assistance to the military community nationwide.
