Four men have been arrested for indecent exposure and public lewdness that occurred in a Palestine park.

The Palestine Police Department received complaints about the lewd behavior from the city's community services department. The men were reported to be engaging in these acts in upper and lower lake park.

Detectives investigated the area throughout the month of Oct. and obtained evidence on several men who were using the park for their lewd acts.

The men range in age from 41-years-old to 68-years old, according to police. They were arrested for the class A misdemeanor offense of public lewdness and the class B misdemeanor offense of indecent exposure.

Police said the investigation is ongoing and additional arrests could be possible. Contact the Palestine Police Department at 903-729-2254 or text PALPD and the information to 847411 with additional information on the crimes.

It is the policy of the Tyler Morning Telegraph not to release the names of people charged with misdemeanor offenses.
