The Tyler Police Department is investigating two reported shootings.
Police were called to East Texas Medical Center about 12:43 a.m. Tuesday when a patient arrived with gunshot wounds to his face and right hand.
The victim told police he was shot at a residence in the 1000 block of Trezevant Street.
Police said there were several people in the house when the shooting took place, but only the patient was injured. Witnesses told police they did not see a suspect and could not provide any other information to the detectives.
The victim's name is being withheld, but he is reported to be in stable condition.
Police were called to the second shooting about 2:15 a.m. in the 1400 block of W. Vance Street.
Multiple rounds were fired, but no one was injured. The occupants of the home were asleep at the time of the shooting. Police said nobody was able to provide a description of a suspect.
