(KYTX) A Juvenile from Arp, Texas was taken into custody due to a Directive to Apprehend Order which was the result of a two count indictment for Tampering With or Fabricating Physical Evidence (Human Corpse) Felony 2 and Tampering With or Fabricating PhysicalEvidence Felony 3.

The indictment was issued by a Rusk County Grand Jury that convened on March 1, 2017.

SHERYIA GRANT disappeared from Kilgore on August 20th, 2016.

On Aug. 30, Grant’s family announced a $5,000 reward for information leading to her whereabouts. That same week after foul play was suspected, Kilgore police changed the missing person case to a criminal investigation. Also, the Gregg County Crimestoppers said they would offer up to a $1,000 reward for any information leading to an arrest.

Nearly a month after she went missing, the house she shared with her sister burned to the ground. However, Kilgore authorities did not believe it had anything to do with their investigation. In October, the Gregg County Crimestoppers increased the reward.

Grant would’ve turned 21 on Nov. 17.

The latest arrest comes after police arrested 22-year-old Laneshia Young and 28-year-old Allen Sutton Jr. on Wednesday. According to the Grant family, Sutton is believed to be the father of Sheryia’s child.
