Dallas man indicted, charged in December robbery of Rotolo's Pizza in Tyler

A Tyler man accused of robbing Rotolo's Pizza in December has been indicted by a Smith County Grand Jury. 

Freddy Criss, 54, of Dallas, is charged with five counts of aggravated robbery, and one count of evading arrest stemming from the Dec. 1 robbery that left several people injured. 

According to police, officers arrived at Rotolo's Pizza after reports of a robbery and saw a red Chevy HHR leaving the scene.

The suspect fled onto Loop 49 and then South Broadway Avenue, wrecked and tried to run but was quickly captured and placed into custody.
